Overview
The Art of Transition began with a 1-day symposium featuring keynote speaker Dr. Richard Florida. Florida explored how Durham Region could achieve long-term economic prosperity by embracing and engaging the creative class, “whose economic function is to create new ideas, new technology, and new creative content.” The Art of Transition became a forum for diverse creative thinkers who live and work in Durham Region.
Goal
The brand identity reflects the intention of bringing together Durham’s creative talents and creating a movement towards innovation and prosperity within the Region. A bold colour palette of green, turquoise, red, orange and brown is used consistently throughout and the iconic arrow is a simple nod to forward-thinkers leading a movement and neatly represents the concept of an economy moving forward.
